    Default DMT 325

Just got my 8" DMT 325 in the mail 60$ total 3 day shipping from a canadian store. Used that failed sanding project razor of mine to remove any chunks and smooth the surface. Lapped both sides of my nortons with it and wow... just wow. Took literally 1 min for the 4k side and maybe 2 for the 8k side...doing 2 sets of grids. No pencil lines, no odd looking spots that the nortons lapping stone left, just smooth quick lapping. Very impressed with this product and just wanted to throw this out there for any new honers looking for lapping stones - WORTH THE MONEY!!!

I couldn't agree more. I get a TON of use from my DMT 325. They really are invaluable if you're going to be honing with any sort of regularity..

I've got a double sidded DMT being 200/325. A very useful bit of gear for lapping stones and honing out chips.

Yea, they are good but don't ever not knock the plate down before the first use.

They get even better with wear. I use a well worn 325 to lap hones with. The perfect tool.

Your right about that Bob I was told by a friend to run a screwdriver across the new DMT to remove the loose diamond and to tame it a bit.

The Canadian Woodcraft or Rockler stores should have them, often times well stocked Hardware stores will have them too..

They even can be found at many Tractor dealers and Ranch/Farm stores as they are used for Mower Deck blades also
