Thread: Best way to get glued thuringian 5x1 out of the box?

I had a 5x1 thuri arrive from ebay earlier this week.
I really dont like them glued in the box, and it was in bad condition with the lid missing anyway.
So I soaked it in water overnight. The wood swelled and softened, and was fairly easy to carefully break away from the stone.
I was about to throw away the broken pieces, but then I thought just for a challenge, I'll take it to work today and try to glue it back together.
It turned out alright (last picture)
Of course I wouldn't recommend this method If you care for the box.
