I'm not sure who you (OP) are talking to, but there are many meet ups in various areas of the USA and probably other countries. My understanding is that these are not competitions where edges are competing for titles.

I'm sorry if anything I said offended you or anyone else. I consider myself new here and try to act accordingly (with a little snarkiness tossed because I'm a happy guy that likes to joke around). In my short tenure here I have met some really fantastic people that joke similarly and we seem to "get" one another.

Perhaps your suggestion for new terminology is solid, I just think the common 'shave ready' terminology works fine and seems ubiquitous (and my limited searching reveals that it has worked quite well for a long time...but as I said, I'm new here so I won't attempt to alter the status quo)
