Thanked: 0yeah i see what you mean. just out of curiousity, do you guys use another stone with a norton 4k/8k to create the slurry?
as an aside, i was also wondering if you'd be able to use a norton 4k/8k to sharpen kitchen knives as well as straight razors? i suppose a sharpening steel is the more conventional way to sharpen kitchen knives, but i wonder if a norton could do the job better.
