    Don't think it will be a consistent metod of sharpening and also the point with hones for me are that it's fun!
    Still it got surprisingly sharp...
    So maybe something the guys on the Mexican gun forum that has been mentioned elsewhere might be able to use

    Probably, I learned to hone woodworking tools of some old pros, they used a fast rotating leather disk with green paste to give it a polished edge. Extremly effektive

    Well yes, but it's tools for tasks isn't it, I wouldn't use secateurs to chop down an oak tree, or an axe to cut a flower.

    Not saying it works on razors. When I got into this I was amused by the level of atention to detail, not any more. Now I understand that there are more to it btw, my shave ready axe are probably good for flower's :-)
