Thread: What is the cheapest place to pick up a norton?

So when I pick up this norton. Do i need to get the flattening stone? What do I need in conjunction with the hone as far as strops? Should I just order a 2 sided bench strop and a hanging strop? What would you recommend to the newbie. Thanks

You will definetly need a hanging strop, you won't need a "flattening stone" for a while. I will tell you I purchased a 4 sided pasted paddle strop from Tony Miller and I would highly recommend it. It i sperfect for touch ups of that edge.
