I need to build one of these ASAP. Does anyone use anything on the underside of the bridge to stop it from moving on the sink? I can see a slip of that bridge being a disaster.

Yes just glue or screw two pieces to the underside to fit your sink...

Yes, a couple crosswise stops epoxied onto the bottom do the job. Or Gorilla glued or use any waterproof glue.
    Have fun!

Gorilla glue worked surprisingly well for me.

The other nice feature of the bridge is it keeps your hand from hitting the table or whatever is holding your stone. Try moving the right edge of the stone to the right edge of the bridge for complete clearance, if you are right handed.

Mine is made from Pine, I originally sprayed it with clear lacquer, but it has since worn off because I usually give it a quick scrub with a scotchbrite sponge and rinse under running water.

When I am done honing I just tilt the bridge 90 degrees, on edge to drain and dry overnight and drape the rubber liner over the faucet, the next day store it under the sink.

i hone over the sink also, but I hold my stones in my hand while I'm honing and I simply fill up one side of the sink with water and put the stone in there when I'm not actually running the razor over them
