Size: 32.8 KBHere's a shot of my little hone station. I do a lot of my work at my barber shop standing up, hone in hand. Post some pics of your honing stations, I'd love to check them out!

I hone standing at the kitchen sink. I'd post a picture now but I'd have to clean the sink or OSHA would close my house down ...... maybe in the near future, if I ever get around to it ......

I used to hone in the kitchen by the sink out of convenience. Now, with my bad back, and sometimes quite a bit of honing, I usually do it sitting at the table or on a snack tray table (really) in front of the TV. I use a spray bottle to mist the hones. You'd be surprised how much water a paper towel can hold. The pita part is going back and forth to the sink to rinse or clean hones, but it beats standing and saves my back.

Sitting at the dining room table. When finished everything goes back in the box except the towel and spray bottle. Lapping is done in the kitchen sink while standing.
