    If I could afford those hones all at once, I would have bought them. I was merely following Lynn's suggestion that he gives in his YouTube video on the use of Naniwa Super Stones.

    I could probably use a 3K but, I have had great success with Lynn's set up.

    I use the Chosera 1K, followed by the Naniwa SuperStone 5K, 8K,12K and finishing with the Suehiro 20K almost exclusively these days. Great set up and all I need. I could add some stones in between this progression as some do, but I personally don't see the need. I am still honing at least 6 days per week, 4-6 hours per day and it is really important for me to have equipment that performs consistently and with reliability. YMMV
