Thanked: 4Couldn't tell you how many shaves. Not many. It was honed somewhere around June. No visible rust on the edge. I've tried stopping all the marks out. They are there for good it seems without some other more aggressive measure. I may have done this when I was learning how to strop. I did nick the leather a few times. Not many.

Glen you know I don't know , but can you even compare a DE edge to one that is honed?? Under magnification at that level, I always understood DE blades were then coated after they sharpened to get the edge that have , just wondering if I remember right, tc
