    It's short notice but: http://straightrazorpalace.com/get-t...exas-meet.html

You may as well go all in since you're closer than the rest of us. A couple days with the brain trust that will be in Burkburnett and you will have absorbed a lifetime of of knowledge. It'll be a boost you cannot acquire from the internet.

FrankfC said what I will also echo. I had a breakthrough, got a bunch of razors shave ready and then a spate of 'you gotta be kidding, nothing is working' honing sessions. I stopped, drank coffee, read a book for a whiile and went back and conquered the wall. Like anything, it's like life, it has ups and downs.

I had actually been thinking about it but it seemed like it was going to be more about forging then honing so I was not sure. Even though it is in Texas I would have a six to seven hour drive so it is not as close as it might seem. I keep on waiting for Sharpton to throw one in Houston...only 4 hours away....Texas is to damn big!!!!

I don't know...is anyone going to be doing anything with honing there? I would really like to hang out with some other razor hounds. I ramble and my wife just says...."That's nice dear, I'm glad you like it."

I'll be bringing stones and my microscope. Randydance and Utopian are both into honing in a big way. You will be traveling the shortest of everyone, except Charlie of course. Come on up!

I will be available for honing stuff for sure. It is what I do the most of. Of course I will be taking harp lessons from bluesman7 at times.

Utopian and I will be traveling about 900 miles one way. Leaving St. Paul, MN about 7AM Thursday and we should arrive some time on Friday afternoon.

Randy does most of the honing and I do most of the talking. However, during his harp lessons I will try to shut up and hone.
