So, I did the new Suehiro 20k finisher after the 12k Naniwa SS last night as a touch up.
I did not strop afterwards or before my morning shave just to test the 20k finish.
I did my normal mumbo jumbo to shave.
My deduction on a 12k finisher hone is that, if you keep a great bevel without over stropping or damaging the edge the Naniwa 12k would all you would need, probably the only hone you would need.
Suehiro put a mirror finish on the bevel with only five laps like I've never seen before.
I will have to shave this week to see how I feel about what I got on the edge from the 20k.
The bevel sure is purdy though. It's a dog eat dog world and I have on milk bone underwear.
