Joe I am in no way in your class of sharpening. Remember.............I watched you like a hawk last time during our meet to learn through visualization and record what you do to memory and store it for when I pull out the hones to touch up.
To date I have the Norton 1K-4K-8K and a DMT 325 lapping plate and a Naniwa 12K finisher. I would love to have a Thuringian but wonder if it would be of much more usefulness over the Naniwa?????
I found a site that I could get a decent deal on one that like yours and Richards comes with a slurry stone and wooden box. What do you think Joe???German blade snob!
