Default You Thought You Had it Bad?

So, when I was killing time last night comparing the price of various hones, I came across a very... special review. This is one of two reviews for the Shapton 30k.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/review/B...sort=rd&sr=8-1

And y'all thought you had it bad, in the quest for the perfect edge?! Please breathe a sigh of relief. This guy must have been inspecting his lawn with a loupe!

I... what the?... I just can't...

What a hilarious review, Naniwa's and Escher's, but still the grass on his lawn didn't look crisp enough...so he went with the 30k Shapton, and now there are no, "raggedy edges" on his lawn...gotta like this guy's thinking, "when good enough" is not acceptable...great post!

you'll wonder why you didn't drop the money on one of these wonderful stones years ago.
WTF !!
Maybe because the lawn mower was cheaper than the Naniwa's, Escher's & the Sharpton 30K stones he has bought & used to sharpen the blades on a God Damn lawn mower

my young lad would Sh!t if I told him I had to hone the blades on my mower before he mows, as he thinks I have OCD because I want all the grass cut without random Mohawks all over it LOL

Yes but it only works with a Toro. Don't even try it with a Honda or a Craftsmen or any other.

By golly, it's gotta be true! After all it's on the internet - truth personified. Love the irony of the guy's supposed nickname, "Croc".

If I may, what a 'Croc'. (It needs to be known that I even suspect a lot of what I say as being a cup of croc.)

This is where I lost it """"After several hours of effortless sharpening""""

I wonder how many of the neighbors dogs he has in his freezer for catching them doing what dogs do :<0)

He charges $1 per blade of grass, though. I asked him if he tapes the spine and when I learned the answer I told him "deals off". I smugly informed him I'd be taking my lawn business over to the guy that strops his edges smooth before each cutting!

and all the pour soul needed was one of these Remington 16" Reel Push Mower - Walmart.com
if you look at and compare cuts from a Reel push and a gas powered mower, you'll notice that the reel push is a clean cut , and quicker to use that the gass powerd one that looks like each blade of grass was torn in half
