Humble visual
I haven't graduated to creating an artistic rendering of our favorite edge attributes, but was pleased to have been able to capture edge sharpness on both digital & film. 'Hope they come through alright.
For ref. its lopping hair 1"+ from point of hold.

Thanked: 3795How the heck was the patterning done on that spine???
edit: never mind, I get it now. On my phone at first viewing I thought the small lengthwise grooves were in valleys but nowI see that is not the case. Still, it's very nicely done.
Was that a gray hair? I find that they cut more easily!Last edited by Utopian; 09-22-2015 at 12:50 AM.

Thanked: 3795Dagnabbit!!!
Now this is exactly why beginners should not bother with the hanging hair test. The calibration is too specific to the individual's hair, and besides, too many beginners lack gray hair.
Venturing into the realm of too much information...(again)...
I have long since accepted gray hairs on my head, as well as a few other locations, but it was still pretty irritating when I found my first gray ear hair!
