    Dose anyone have a idea of what kind of stone this is. The dimensions are

    Although this should be in the hones section as it pertains to the hone and not using it. No big deal it looks like a silicon carbide stone to me. That's just a guess though.

    I'm only viewing on a mobile phone, so not the best picture quality, but it has indications of being a Washita IMO.

    I was thinking washita also, better pictures of front and back and end would help identify.

    I recently lapped it and it is a very low density stone. I'll post pictures of the front and back when I get off work today.

    This would be my guess as well. A coarse to med Arkansas stone
