Just finished refreshing this razor. Had it finished on this stone before with a great mix of sharp and smooth. Have tried it on a couple others and decided it needs to be this stone for this razor. Is a La Grise 150 x 40
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

I have begun to enjoy barber's hones on hard American steel.
About to palm-finish this Novelty on PJM C-Mon for tomorrow's shave.

The first three razors from left saw a full synthetic treatment, the last two natural progression.

Didn't take a pic, but touched up a little ivory scaled MAB with G20 & followed up with a thuri slurried coticule. Pretty good shave, but needed a little bit more. ONe more touch-up should have it back to where it should be.

It's a mid range J-nat. The sides were sealed w/ Urushi, fun stuff.
