Less is more in this case. If it shaves fine then leave it alone you can always revisit it later. You will see if the new microbevel will last longer or not soon enough. I wouldnt take any more metal off that razor unless you had too. My 2 cents.
    Don't drink and shave!

I took the advice to re-hone with 2 strips of quality electrical tape and I did about 20 laps 8k, 20 laps 12k and it seemed to be pretty sharp. Popping hair on my arm easily. Under the loop it looked like like the original bevel was now divided into two with the new one looking pretty clean. I finished with about 10 laps on nylon and 10 on leather strop.

This morning's shave was exactly what i was hoping for and I was able to complete three passes with no tugging.

Thank you all for the feedback!

Question... Does anyone think I should reset the bevel to the new bevel now on the 4k, or should I leave it as is until I need to hone it again?
No reason to hone all over again if you got the desired result IMHO. If you are particular about how the bevel looks then it is up to you.

Nobody questioned his extremely low stropping count... weird.

Seems a little low but if it works! Maybe 100 laps on a hone is better. Just kidding. Maybe. Tc

No at least not for the first shave off a hone. But even at that really a ton of laps are not needed for a good stropping. If you combine my post shave strop and pre shave strop I probably average 20 linen and 40 leather between shaves.
