    I dry my hones on edge, and flip the edge after a time...on a shelf in a closet.

    That should certainly be fine unless maybe your humidity is super low. Even so your method sounds good.

    I have the same stone. Do you have any advice that would help me mitigate cracks? I typically run it under water for about 10 seconds, then splash and go while honing. When done, I just clean it and air dry (on edge). Did you do anything different?
