Thread: Honing Mentor in Boston area

I'm in NH, near Manchester, about an hour from Shrewsbury. I looked when I first joined the forum over a year ago and didn't see any mentors. Haven't looked since.

Theperfectedge.com the gents name is Howard he hones sells hones etc. he was willing to do a meet to teach. His shop is over in shrewsbury.

Cool! I hear from other members that it is a great way to go. If Howard is willing to accept another person, I'd love to join in on the session if I can.

If so, just let me know when you plan on meeting and where (you can Private message details) and I can let you know if I can make it. Since you're on a time constraint, don't worry about accommodating me. It's more important for you to get up to speed with deployment.

I am 20 minutes from Shrewsbury and am new to this if you need a group if Howard or someone else was willing to do a honing class.

Nick Shaves and Howard have a 2 part honing video that I watched that was good. There are a number of other videos that may help if you do not find someone to meet with. Between reading forum info on honing and watching videos on YouTube is how I am learning on lapping film.
