Thread: Trouble honing a flea market find (Imperial Razor, Germania Cutlery Works)

    I've had the same exact razor and it was a PITA to hone for some reason, but once I got it, it shaved great!!

    I 2nd the post about putting extra work (I use circles) on the toe until it cuts hair, I've had to do that for a few razors. Once it cuts as well as the rest do a few more rolling x-strokes and move up to the next hone.

    That is exactly what I have done in the past and did not express it fully in the previous post.
