300 & 1000 Ultex diamond - for any repairs or metal removal requirements,
    Then standard progression starts
1K Naniwa full bevel set on good steel
4/8 Norton back to 8k for most touch ups
    12K Naniwa
Pike Swaty (16k) when in the mood

    Final polishing is
About 20 laps on chrox them Ferrox on a balsa paddle

50 laps on felt then 100 English bridle leather hanging strop before shaving
    Shave test
Then Post shave test either back to the 12k if harsh for an alternative finish run
If a pass it is another 50 on flax linen then 100 on the Vegi tanned horse

My go-to is kinda the "newbie standard"

Naniwa 1/5/8/12, although I'm working on getting my 1/5 work better so that the 8k goes faster. The 12k is my current preferred finish, but more work on my naturals (vermio, coti, possible thuringian) is needed.

    A coticule.

Green chosera 1k if edge repair is needed.
Green paste if a little extra sharpness is needed.
