Then standard progression starts

Final polishing is
About 20 laps on chrox them Ferrox on a balsa paddle
50 laps on felt then 100 English bridle leather hanging strop before shaving

Then Post shave test either back to the 12k if harsh for an alternative finish run

My go-to is kinda the "newbie standard"
Naniwa 1/5/8/12, although I'm working on getting my 1/5 work better so that the 8k goes faster. The 12k is my current preferred finish, but more work on my naturals (vermio, coti, possible thuringian) is needed.

A coticule.
Green chosera 1k if edge repair is needed.
Green paste if a little extra sharpness is needed.
