Thanked: 46Mystical hones are probably not in the mix, but dmt c to coti definitely is a can do.
So someone mentioned the gold dollar blades, I think thats doable. So any candidates? just post I'm in and I'll start a voting thing, worst case scenario, gold dollars, your own hones and my face to judge. If you can't handle a fun competition with absolutely no scientifically proven winner you might as well call yourself a no sense of humor having someone. lol.

Not to worry you see it's all worked out.
First you send the contestants the exact same razor in the exact same non shaving condition. Easy right? Then when they hone it up and send it to the judges it's accompanied by a notarized letter from their mommy certifying they honed it all by themselves or maybe a letter from their first grade teacher certifying their honesty.
You could also make them travel to one location and lock them in a room with the razor and the exact same honing materials in the exact same condition and time their efforts.
Easy, and we're ust getting started. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Don't need the competition. I just bought a Feather AC SS and discovered that my best hand-honed edges were almost as good as a Feather. I'm feeling pretty good about my honing right now. I've had a few people that purchased razors from me say that they were the best edges they had ever received but that is subjective. My own cheeks and chin are very objective.

Thanked: 46So I contacted Hart razors, to see if they would be interested in sponsoring the olympics, if not I will inform you guys of the razors that will be used as soon as I get confirmation from whatever sponsor I find, or I end up buying them. Remember to post I am in or whatever to create the contestants thread. Cheers!

This has got me thinking.....
If I buy 500 Gold dollars. Charge a $20 entry fee and send the razors out for "free". They pay the return postage.
20% don't return so I have broke even on those.
That leaves me 400.
200 of those are bad and I auction them off as shave ready. Charge a big shipping and handling charge so I am ahead on those.
Pick a random winner out of the rest and send them a $25 trophy.
I now have 200 relatively shave ready razors the I can use up and now trade or sell as they get dull.
