Thanked: 481If you're referring to jointing the edge, I'll agree that's a large help. It used to confuse me, but now that I've tried it a few times I've gotten a better understanding of what it does. It really does help straighten the edge, sometimes I think better than you could if you simply kept trying to grind past the chips.
