    Hello gentlemen.
So today I test shave the rehoning razor. By the way is a 5/8 bagpiper Solingen.
The filing was great in 3 passes wtg, etg and atg.
First time I shave with an old razor, it seems to me a little bit radical compeer to my dovo.
Any way the operation first time honing a vintage straight razor ended perfect.
Again thanks everybody for the good advisees.

Great advice, I'd follow it. Given my limited experience I think there is much to learn with each razor at each step along the way.
