    I've never used your 8k, but I would assume that it would still be able to speed up the work before using the coticule.

    as you live in antwerp (great city!), i strongly recommend to visit de messenwinkel at mechelseplein 7. i forgot the name of the owner, but he is very helpful and knows a lot about coticules and straight razors. i am pretty sure he can help you.

    Hi,
    that is exactily where my hone and first razor (and strops, soaps, knives ...) come from very nice shop and i think the only one around in Antwerp that sells such hones or razors.. the man behind the counter is Robert if I'm correct.
    The 14th of January they are giving a honing course, I am going for sure..

    good! enjoy it! he has some incredible (huge!) coticules somewhere sleeping in a box. don't miss these!
