    These are on the bench for testing right now

    The smaller one is a "Lydian" from that guy through a friend on FB and I put that in quotes for a reason,,, the Larger one is a Basanite that came by way of TN
    Still testing but my initial impression is that these are the same stone from the same stone cutter..

    I have only sent out a few to customers so far for opinions on the edges,, Feedback is trickling back in now..

    I am NOT using a Micro bevel, it is simple really, if you are going to create a Micro bevel using a Higher angle to either improve the edge feel or lessen a chippy edge,, Why not just hone with the higher angle anyway and create a stronger bevel to begin with JMHO and a wee bit of experience...

    So far the responses are good, but it is not a WOW edge yet, I guess the real question is "What is the Difference"

    The biggest difference I see so far is the price of the stones the smaller "Lydian" is about $300 and the larger Basanite is less then $100 and of course the name..
