    This is kind of where I'm at on it. Built in convexity to me means "This is where your edge will be after you hit it with .5 Mic paste once or twice." I can't see where it would be terribly beneficial, but hey...to each his own. Long as the end user is happy with the shave how they got there isn't all that important.

    3 weeks polishing the hone to .050 Micron...and I thought I was particular about the surface of my hones. I wonder how fast a razor will degrade that level of polish. On anything but an Arkansas stone or something similarly hard I can't imagine it lasts long.
