    For me, Stainless razors have a little more grainy feeling on the Naniwa's than the Carbon razors but I don't do anything different when honing them other than a couple extra strokes on the higher grit stones. Any extra pressure on the blade pictured would be counter productive as I am sure there would be more flex in the blade than what is needed to set the bevel.
