I was talking about thickness from the spine to the edge more so than the witness marks from hone contact. I held a set of calipers up to the screen to make sure the taper wasn't just my eyes playing tricks on me. That seemed to be a more pressing concern than what I'm assuming is the uneven grind that seems common to Dovos.

Potentially a warped razor. If the warp is significant, throw it away. It'll be a lifetime of annoying honing otherwise.
