Sticky on 12k? I never go that long on the 12k. 15 to 30 laps I bet is all i do on that stone. Some5hing to think about I guess.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 156It is posible if you finish under light running water and the stone is clean of debry...or if you use a drop of detergent...sinthetics stick too although not as much from what i experienced.

Thanked: 7Interesting observation ovidiucotiga. I always finish on the 12k Naniwa holding the stone in my hand under a light trickle of water. Gets sticky normally around 20 laps onwards, very much a feeling of the blade surface cleaning up.
