Is there someone who can call him and give us an update? I hope he isn't in the hospital or anything else serious.

I sent a PM to a good friend of his a half hour ago, alerting them to this thread. So maybe we'll hear something in the near term.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    HAY, Jimmy!

    And SDM84,
At times in our lives, we need to be gone for one reason or another. Ron is a fine fellow. I hope he is OK.
I know how you feel, but Ron has not been on the forum lately either AFAIK.
I can say I don't think he is ignoring you on purpose.
    Need to borrow a razor?

To the OP .....I saw your post on FB last nite and then texted Ron.
Are you the guy who sent the razor without first asking Ron if he had time?
If so then he will get to it soon, ......after deer hunting season is my guess.

Thanks to all who responded. I understand now about deer season but since I don't hunt (yet) myself I didn't realize what that really meant. As far as "sending it to him without asking" no- I had been in contact with him via PM and was invited to send him a razor with very specific instructions so that's what I did. I would NEVER send a razor without asking first.

Thanks also for the kind offer of a loaner razor- like most of you I have wayyy too many. I am just excited about my advancing honing skills and am seeking feedback from respected honers by sending out my edges. Watch out I might be bugging some of you for constructive criticism soon (ha!).

I will wait until I hear back. In the future I will make sure to nail down specifics more and check to see when hunting season is LOL. I am not questioning his integrity or character please make no mistake about that.

    Glad he is okay!
Maybe we will see a stag rescale soon.
