Thread: Has anyone seen Utopian around?

Has anyone heard from Ron @utopian lately? I sent him a razor to evaluate over two weeks ago and haven't heard back from him despite a couple of PM's and a bunch of tagging on social media (and a PM on his facebook page) I hope that he is OK not dealing with anything serious?

Seems like he is at a meet. Not to worry. Ron will get back.

He may or may not be part of a secret consortium that Trump has commissioned to investigate the tape vs. no-tape issue because both the House and the Senate have reached a stalemate.

Expect a resolution within the week and Ron will be back in pocket.

Ron has been a bit busy honing crap blades on an old Swaty and then using the blade to shave using lye soap as a lather. He declined Lilac Vegetal for after shave.

I saw a black helicopter land. Two men in black with Gillette logos on their lapels disembarked and took him away for questioning.

Declining the Veg may be the issue........

I hope he doesn't have a rash or something.

I just received an encrypted text on the secure line. They are also about to rule on the (in)effectiveness of jointing blades.

OK it's been a MONTH since I sent Ron @utopian a razor and I have not heard back from him despite many attempts at communication.

If anyone knows him personally will you PLEASE ask him to contact me? All I want is just an acknowledgement that he has the razor and will at some time do an edge evaluation for me.

Ron is a Mentor here and I'm just looking for help that's all. I really hope there is not a serious situation going on for him if there is that is completely understandable. Short of a situation like that it just looks like he is ignoring me, and I have been pretty patient this far...Ron of you don't want to or can't do the evaluation just please send the razor back.

No haven't seen or talked to him in a bit, sonething may have come up, you sure don't have to worry about Rons integrity. I do know when he's not got any time he doesn't check the forum much so he wouldn't see your PM. So I know you may be nervous, but I know he would never do anything wrong to you, I'd stand behind it myself. Tc

I had gotten some help from Ron in the past and he sure seems like a very stable upstanding kind of guy. As TC said, something must have come up. All should be fine soon. Hopefully.
