The lesson to be learned there is getting a site up and running and directing it and keeping it going is no small task.

Any site that keeps functioning year after year and decade after decade is to be treasured.

Yeah, swell guys in my experience and willing to help newcomers. Sounds like that meet was a blast from what I've heard!
Maybe some folks have bumped heads over the years from forum to forum and I definitely don't know the details, so I don't speculate - but life is too short. I like the folks over there just like I like the folks over here and have learned a great deal from both!

I joined recently after learning Modine posted on there a lot. Unfortunately it looks like his previous posts/threads there were lost. Fortunately he still has plenty of stuff to read here about Barber Hones!

They are working on recovering the lost database. Hopefully it works out

I noticed my old login didn't work. A real drag... can the new site natively store images or is it still link only? Losing all those images to photobucket really neutered ras' value as a technical database.

Looks like they are stored safe and sound on a server now.
