    Good set of stones.

    Looks like paste in the lower left hand corner of your last picture. Make sure to shave your edge from the stone and clean strop before trying the paste. I found it covered up issues with my honing that I wouldn’t have otherwise known were there, the result was better shaves.

    Hi Bob... I have seen you post pics of your Edelweiss and i really dig that whole look.. Do you have any blades that you use that have some similarities?? Thanks, SMW

    That's Herold Yellow Balm. It's a strop conditioner not an abrasive.

    Yes, a few that are similar as in ones with blued tang and spine and others with gold etch only on the blade.
