So here's my shop outfit, with built-in ventilation. I'm about to change into it and go work on some blades in progress to celebrate my 1st day of Christmas break. That shirt is literally 30 years old, being from U2's Rattle and Hum documentary/tour in '89. I wear it for nostalgia as much as anything.
Let's start a contest for filthiest shop clothes! Post 'em up, boys (unless you're one of those Bob Vila types who wears nice flannel and khakis in his shop haha!).There are many roads to sharp.

Not a Bob Vila type, but I can't compete with that.
My wife would have quietly disposed of those a while ago

Thanked: 562We celebrate when we can work on a blade or brush that’s seen maybe a hundred or more years of use. Seems to me the outfits we wear while lavishing love on those items should be in sync.
Also, the accumulated sweat and chemicals absorbed by the fabric help contribute to the privacy we seek while working in the shop.David

Well said, but you still look like a bum.
