Turns out my shipping suspicion was correct for USPS. To ship from Louisiana to Grand Forks is $12, as soon it crosses the border it's $32, it's outrageous (exactly why I try to avoid shipping anything to members in the USA.)

Apparently UPS is not bad though, it was only an extra $6 to cross the border.
