    Default 3M Micro Abrasive Film

    Hello to everyone!
    DId anybody ever check out 3M Micro Abrasive Film for Scary Sharpening~!
    This is a mylar back type of film!

    As I was told, Its not only the surface but the flatness of the surface.
    Maybe someone has some input on this!

    I have used this. I had Aluminium oxide film rather than the diamond version. I have 5, 1 and 0.3 micron films. I don't know why but i don't use them much anymore, since i got a shapton 12000 grit stone anyway.

    I haven't from them , but I like some of the abrasives from this place. This is the only place that I have found 1/2 inch drum sanders up to 1200 grit.http://www.metalliferous.com/index.htm

    Yeah RS supply them, but they are expensive, i got them on ebay.
