Nortons cut much faster than a coticule. So you can get a lot more done in less time, but on the 8K you need to watch out for overhoning.
As for size... You don't need large stones. 6x2 is plenty big enough to work with.
But personally I like 8x3 stones.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
