Thanked: 11I was asking the name of the seller on ebay that you bought your hone from.
About 2 mins after posting mine turned up. The surface kinda looks like its been stabbed at with a pointed object and even has a couple of lines that run across the block however running my finger nail and a pair of scissors over these areas doesn't reveal any hint of catching. I'll try to get a Hi-Res photo tonight.
So I'm happy.

Seller is endevergsp, seller's store is myknifesourcecom
That is exactly what happens. Roughening have disappeared and is now soft but there are those small holes of 1mm like its been stabbed at with a pointed object.

Expect DMT me answer the question in order not to impair erroneously seller but not answered. If you answered DMT, know please. There are more people in the forum who have bought and are in a similar situation. My English is bad enough and DMT possibly not understand my question.

Didn't you just ask the same question here also?
http://www.badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=41224
My DMT D8EE is from the same shop, no problem with that, as I stated, lap it just a tiny bit, or use it to lap another stone just a little, and everything will smooth out.
My hone snagged a little also, still it comes with an paper that says it is ready for use, but I guess that is for plane blades or something, not nothing as delicate as an razor.
But now it is baby smooth, and wowza.. it does indeed remove metal.. fast..

I put the same question in the two forums on the same date 03-21-2008. 25 days ago
Wanted to know the opinion of DMT on the small holes. I am very demanding and wanted to be sure that this stone was in perfect condition
I will give the same answer that I have given here. Thanks for recall
Greetings
