If you have ever seen the Dovo blade manufacturing video you will notice that before they install the blade in the scales a guy sights down the blade,lays it on several layers of leather ,and gives it a good whack with a rawhide mallet then sights again,and may give another whack or just pass the blade along.He is straightening distortion caused during heat treat,apparently he didnt get yours right.I have done it on a few blades mostly sheffield heavier razors ,and a few solingen hollow grounds,i have broken a few too.It works pretty well Best Regards Gary
