Thread: SWATY EXPLANATION

RECENLTY I READ SOME POSTS ABOUT SWATY AND there is some confusion..i hope this picture will help you.Some one was saying 3 line swaty is fine another peson saying it is fine etc.Pictures goes from course to ifne stonethey are
1 st threeline the swaty
2 american three line swaty
3 is German three line swaty
4 isa swaty
i mean three line the swaty is the course then next etc.hope this helps you
please guys three line doesn't means stone has three lines it just says three line swaty check pictures.

I was lead to believe that if it had 3 lines of print on the hone it was the 3 line, but I see now that the hone must actually say "three line". Thank you for making this clear. I wonder if this will spark any interest or debate?

Do you have any Two line Swaty's?

I always thought it ment three lines of print as well. My two line (works well as a finisher) only has two lines of print.

It looks the same as your's but it says:


FRANZ SWATY on one line

then MARBURG, AUSTRIA on the next.

it should be same as last stone finest among them just made in different location

Thanks for the information. I hadn't realized there were so many "three line" Swatys. Luckily, it seems I have the finest of all.

Hmm, I have the Swaty option numero tres. I would say it's darn close in finish to my Spyderco UF, and it only cost me 3 bucks.

I also thought 3 line meant 3 lines of text, not literally printed with the words "three line". Good to know!
