hmmm i cant seem to find The Mighty Boosh in region 1 all i can find is region 2.

Don't worry about that. I used to have the same concern until I brought some DVDs purchased here in Australia (Region 2) back home to Canada and they played fine on 3 of 4 North American (Region 1) players. Many DVD players, especially the cheap ones, are region free but that is not an advertised feature.
