$117?? Thanks Jimmy and Alex for the almost simultaneous tip on the less expensive source. I agree, Alex. At that price, it could be worth it to rip one in half. But, really there wouldn't be a need. The 10k unlike the 5k and 1k is a full 1 1/4" wide. If you can work with standing it up on its side, then that width is perfect IMO. Of course, I wanted something more than standing my Chinese 12k brick on its side which prompted me to cut them up! So......who knows.

Agreed. I'm just kind of waiting to see more reviews as to whether I want that hone at that price (a lot). Is it better for putting a comfortable finished edge on a razor than a Shapton 16k? That's really the question for me I guess. It has promise.

The rubbing stone that comes with the 10 K Chosera measures 2&9/16"wide by 1&13/16" long by 1&1/4" thick. In metric that is 66mmX42mmx32mm.

    As promised.
It became a rather lengthy write-up, so I decided to post a new thread in the Reviews section.
