I hope it's not a misprint. A 2" x 6" EE would be a neat companion to pack along with a barber hone or similar sized coticule...

It's not a misprint. I just grabbed the last one at my local Woodcraft store. Definitely a 3 micron 2" x 6".
DMT's regular channels and their consumer link (both internet and by phone) still say they know nothing about a "D6EE". Apparently it isn't a regular catalog item yet.
Woodcraft tells me the warehouse still has about 600 units left.

Thanked: 77Tool makers/companies often put out one-off, limited edition issues for anniversary, special company occassions, etc. Snap-on for example had a boxed set of gold plated box end wrenches. Stuff like that. Wouldn't surprise me if the 6" is only avaliable in this set and may never make the catalog.

I just got mine today and it is indeed a 8000 mesh hone. I am pleased as punch with mine.
