    Hey,

yes it is brand new. I did some test on it right out of the box. It seemed pretty keen but not quite enough to I did a few pyramids and 10 passes on the swaty followed but 15 on the cr0 and 30 on plain newspaper

It feels pretty darn good right now.

I will shower and shave after lunch.

The scales are really really nice! Centers perfectly, feels solid. Got to love those germans! thanks Shavemac

Is that the blue marble effect? I noticed on the website that some of the blue marble images looked great but others looked a bit ugly, something to do with how the images are generated I think. Judging from your picture the real razor looks fine.

Actually it's not the blue marble effect. They were all out of that one but they recommended this one and I thought it looked cool as well. Just finished my first shave with the thing and wow! one awesome shave! For $140 shipped at my door in 3 days from Germany, can't ask for more! It also comes in a nice Dovo leather pouch.

The razor was almost shave ready out of the box, it only needed a few swipes to make it perfect!

I love the way the razor shaves! It feels similar to my Dovo Tortoise but also much stiffer which I like I lot. It will be interesting to see how many shaves I get out of it before it needs to be retouch. I hear that stainless steel usually holds an edge a little longer than carbon steel. I've also been reading about these people using the same razor for months before going back to the hones simply by using good stropping on the linen and leather.
