Thanked: 278Is that the blue marble effect? I noticed on the website that some of the blue marble images looked great but others looked a bit ugly, something to do with how the images are generated I think. Judging from your picture the real razor looks fine.

Thanked: 398Actually it's not the blue marble effect. They were all out of that one but they recommended this one and I thought it looked cool as well. Just finished my first shave with the thing and wow! one awesome shave! For $140 shipped at my door in 3 days from Germany, can't ask for more! It also comes in a nice Dovo leather pouch.
The razor was almost shave ready out of the box, it only needed a few swipes to make it perfect!

Glad the honing worked well for you !
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 398I love the way the razor shaves! It feels similar to my Dovo Tortoise but also much stiffer which I like I lot. It will be interesting to see how many shaves I get out of it before it needs to be retouch. I hear that stainless steel usually holds an edge a little longer than carbon steel. I've also been reading about these people using the same razor for months before going back to the hones simply by using good stropping on the linen and leather.
