The first picture's centered large characters say 砥石 (Toishi) and means hone or sharpening stone. The small blured characters around the outside of the flower shape are at the top 天然 (Tennen) meaning natural and the lower ones are 京都 (Kyoto, a place name) and 特産 (tokusan) meaning special production.
The second picture: the top horizontal characters say 銘石 (Meiishi) which means 'signature stone' and the vertical characters below that read 葛蒲産 (I think... but I don't know the corect reading of these) and mean that the stone was produced (--> 産) by whoever (--> 葛蒲).
I tried a quick search but couldn't find out how to correctly read the name of the stone.
