Is it possible that I am doing too much and should stop after I get a good grab on my thumb with the 15K?
Also when I look under the microscope what should I see if I have a wire edge? I can see the striations and they are in black. just above them is a very shinny edge. Does that mean that the razor is getting sharper or that I have just developed a wire edge?

Thanked: 2209David Uthe posted some pictures of a wire edge a while back. It was very instructive. I do not know where the are now.
It does not sound like you have a wire edge unless its not shaving well.
Just my two cents,
