No-strop Hone
i just bought a Victory No-strop hone. It has a fine stone on one side and what looks like plexiglas on the other. It calls the plexiglas a hone and the other side a stone.
Does anyone know anything about this type of barber hone? It says "strictly dry." It says one pass on the hone is equal to 10 on leather. The instructions are unclear - 6-8 strokes forward and then "4 backward as in stropping." Am I supposed to go forward on the plexiglass and backward?
